I keep changing my mind about selling this amp as every time i plug it in it sounds phenomenal but back at the moment to fund a rare vintage guitar so seize the opportunity.

For sale is probably the ultimate Fender amp in truly excellent condition for both the player and collector. It's a just-CBS Vibrolux made just after the takover in early 1965 still with the original Schumacher transformers, rare original Jensen speakers and the venerable AA864 circuit. The amp is in incredible condition and sounds amazing. It has actually been bought a few years ago from a reputable dealer in New York but has since then undergone further service by one of the best in the business, Mr Rafal Igiel who's among many other accolades the head restorer of instruments in the Polish national musical instrument museum. He did the job with painstaking attention to detail giving it a truly museal treatment even sourcing out an original blackface corner, one of which turned out to be non original in the amp (something I would probably never notice). Every part of the amp has been cleaned and all metal parts, screws, washers and speaker frames have been de-rusted from the little traces of rust inevitably found on a 60 year old amp. Speaker cones are original and in perfect condition. Other than standard cap job and installing a 3 prong power cord all the crucial components are original -  transformers, blue molded caps, etc. Footswitch is original but the switches themselves are replaced as one was getting stuck sometimes (original included). Very often blackface Fenders suffer from an annoying ticking when Vibrato is engaged that is hard to get rid of which was also the case with this amp when I received it from NY but again Mr Igiel did his magic and now it has the best and strongest vibrato I've heard in a Fender free of noise. The service wasn't cheap and is reflected in the price but you will get the best plus the investment value will only go up. The amp comes with a custom made tightly fitting flight case. Please get in touch prior to buying, it would be ideal to arrange local pickup in Berlin but shipping can be done as well.
