Ibanez's "Beyond The Boundaries" line of BTB basses adds its boldest member yet, the Limited Edition BTB7. By adding a higher "F" to their 6-string configuration, they've given the bassist even more of what BTB is all about“ rich sonic response, a wide range of musical possibility, as well as comfort & playability that never ceases to amaze.
The Mono-Rail bridge delivers the ultimate in string-to-string isolation, meaning that each string vibrates optimally without be affected by the others. BTB7's string spacing is 15.5mm, offering more freedom on the fretboard, and comfortable access for finger picking and slapping. The CAP Sonic Arch neck and bridge pickups. Single-sized humbuckers with blade pole pieces; well-balanced traditional tone for any music and any style. The specialized 3-band EQ maximizes the characteristics of Sonic Arch pickups. A bypass switch is included so that players can also use a passive sound. The BTB7 features 7-piece Maple/ Bubinga/ Maple/ Walnut/ Maple /Bubinga/ Maple neck-thru design. The BTB's extra-long 35-inch neck scale offers tight, even tension with no flopping on the low end, and added sustain on the high strings. It also provides superior articulation, making it perfect for 7-string. Neutrik locking jack provides stable and secure connections, preventing accidental disconnect or shock and vibration.
