Used Yamaha ST535RX 80s MIJ Strat HSS Blueburst

Yamaha ST535RX HSS Strat, made late 80s in Japan in delicious blue burst. This looks so damn cool! The blue burst extends all the way up the back of the neck to the headstock, it's a loud look that's set off perfectly by the slightly aged gold hardware; it looks great from every angle. It's slightly on the heavy side for a Strat but feels nicely balanced, and the solid-as-a-rock neck is slim, comfortable and quick. The pickups sounds great, you get a nice glassy ping of the single coils and hearty crunch off the bridge humbucker. This is 80s Japanese craftsmanship paired with some proper late 80s steez.

Cosmetic condition notes: Minor cosmetic wear. There's a few minor scratches, dimples and marks around the body, but there's really not much to note. There's some normal scratches on the guard. The gold hardware is in pretty good shape. Overall: very good condition (8.5/10)

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Frets have a little wear but are pretty even and have plenty of life left, 7/10. Recently been through a Topshelf setup with 10/46 strings, playing with mojo!
