An original hand built early edition (with Rupert Neve's direct involvement), this pair has sequential serial numbers.
If you're looking at this you most likely know what this is, it's a secret weapon, a gem. Unlike the more recent built ones, the "Red and Blue" originals have a far superior build quality and more "Mojo" (I used to have both so I know)
the 5016 is considered superior to the other pre's in the range, (Such as the 5012 or 5015) and certainly a lot rarer.
There was a limited re-issue, but even with that, this is still the only one for sale right now on reverb... These ones are only going to go up in value so it's also a great investment.
