Vintage RCA BC-18 Analog mixer console sidecar desk - modified with Elco breakout inputs and XLR stereo direct outs

Mid 70’s eight channel germanium vintage analog broadcast mixer in excellent shape for its age. It’s all here, missing nothing. Modified with XLR outs and Elco breakout inputs for recording studio use. Two Elco cables included as shown! Most recently used as a prop in the latest John Krasinski movie here in Brooklyn.

Powers up, VU’s work, no further testing has been done however the original manual I have for you has dozens of detailed schematics for every inch of this mixer so a full concours restoration should be very simple for any tech, something no other mixer for sale online comes with.

Amazing condition for its age, as shown. Hinged lid works perfectly, no big scratches or bent metal. All buttons, switches and Daven potentiometers work perfectly. Iconic RCA Bakealite knobs in great shape. It’s all here and with a little tlc (and some new caps), she’s ready to make beautiful music again.

We recently modified one of these and make the program and audition switches and left and right LCR panning feature. The Line mixer inputs are incredible for printing stems and getting that larger than life LFC separation for a fraction of the other RCA’s on the market today.

Comes with cables, original unobtanium manual and original original elusive schematics. You certainly will never see another one for sale with original skim and manual!
