This is a 14" wide by 42" tall Makuta Leader Drum custom made by Toca for Peripole. It's beautiful hand-carved body, carved from Plantation Grown Mahogany, is stunning on both the top and bottom sections. The 14" thick cow skin head is professionally rope strung and sounds amazing with deep bass tone and ringing open edge tone.
I purchased this drum from the US Government surplus auction, Gov Planet, which auctions off surplus government and municipal surplus items.
The build quality of this Ngoma leader drum is impeccable with care taken on the hand carving designs on both the top and bottom sections.
Includes a brand new set of TOCA Mallets.
