NY Bach Mercedes trumpet in Lacquer. Bell says “New York 67”. This is not like the later Mercedes II trumpet. Made with Stradivarius parts. Medium bore. Vintage Bach sound and very easy to play! For me this trumpet is great for solo literature and jazz combo. I wouldn’t take it on a salsa gig or play lead in a big band. Though with a valve alignment who knows
This trumpet has been re-lacquered. There is a dent on the bell noted in the pics. Also small pen size dents here and there and a little wavy from the restore. Looks like the first valve has been re-plated over monel. The compression is a low on the first valve but still plays great. The bottom valve caps and valve guides are not original but everything else seems to be. This trumpet is a piece of history and fun to play. Comes with the case in pics. No mouthpiece
Let me know if you want more pictures. I can’t also send you a playing demo if you want to here it
