The Amphion Amp500 is a Class D, 2x 500-watt-per-channel stereo amplifier with virtually no distortion, specifically designed to complement the Amphion , , and  for larger control rooms.

The Amphion Amp500 is a custom Class D power amplifier that’s designed specifically to complement the clear, natural sound of Amphion’s One18. Two15, and Two18 series of studio monitors for large control rooms. Packing 500 watts of power per channel, the Amp500 stereo amplifier features Anaview’s patented AMS (adaptive modulation servo) amplifier technology, which corrects nonlinearities. With high-grade electronics and precision manufacturing, the Amp500 evokes the best performance from Amphion speakers, revealing all the clarity, depth, and consistency expected from an amplifier with the Amphion name. Amphion’s founder, Anssi Hyvönen in his search for an amplifier that would complement the transparency and musicality of Amphion speakers found that the Anaview AMS1000 was the only Class D amplifier he heard that didn’t sound sterile. And so, a collaboration was born, resulting in the Amphion AMP500. It’s an integrated audio solution that combines high-end amplifier and power supply technology. It’s capable of delivering 2x500 watts into 2 ohms @1%THD, 2x330 watts into 4 ohms @1%THD, or 900 watts into 4 ohms in bridged mode.

The Amp500 features Anaview’s patented AMS (adaptive modulation servo) architecture, which corrects nonlinearities in parallel with the class D stage itself. The technology offers wide, 1st-order bandwidth and 0.05% THD+N at rated power—and a truly first-class-listening experience.
