Rickenbacker is a USA based instrument manufacturer, and their instruments are beloved by famous acts around the world, such as the Beatles, Deep Purple and Pink Floyd, and the Rickenbacker 4001 V63 Mapleglo that we have here at Bella Romeo showcases why. The V63 replicates the model used by Paul McCartney, and is also similar by design with the version used by Chris Squire. It features a maple body construction, which gives it a bright and snappy tone. It comes with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard and a maple neck, which the rosewood gives a warm and rounded tonal profile and the maple neck provides a fast attack. For electronics, it is equipped with a single coil pickup in the bridge and the classic toaster single coil pick up in the neck.
This bass is used and it is in mint- condition. The top of the body and sides is in perfect condition with no noticeable nicks or scratches. There are some very minor scratches at the back of the body, visible only upon close examination. The neck and fretboard are also in perfect condition with no nicks and scratches. The frets are virtually new. There is a very minor nick on the bottom of the headstock. The chrome finish remains intact, the electronics are working normally, and the truss rod functions in both direction.
This bass comes with an original deluxe hardshell case.
