Philips Philicorda GM 754 Vintage and Cool Sounding Organ From The 1970s

Another beautiful organ from the Philips Philicorda series, the GM 754. This one is the last model in the portable Philicorda family made in the 60's/70's.

Just as the previous organs, the GM 745 has all the beautiful tones and sounds amazing but I can say that it sounds less warm. I myself like the older versions better.

NOTE! Some alterations have been made to the organ by the previous owner:

1. The power switch has been moved to foot (also can be seen in the pictures). As it may seem strange it is pretty cool to operate it that way.

2. It seems the organ has been made nore easy to use on stage and therefor the internal speakers are disconnected. When connected to an amp it sounds as it should.

3. Also the volume slider is missing or it has been removed intentionally.

Anyway - the alterations seem to be easily reversed.

Visual condition is pretty good for a 50+ years old organ. It has a rather small hole underneath the organ (you can see it in the pictures) but it is nothing a handy man can't fix. Also it is totally unnoticeable and DOES NOT affect the sound and overall performance of the organ.

Technical condition:Apart from the alterations it is in a very good condition. Some of the controls could use a contact spray but everything else works just fine and the organ sounds like it should.
