My favorite guitar for a very long time but don't play much anymore and am willing to let it go.
I purchased this gem about 10 years ago and created this '57 American RI into my own Billy Corgan tribute guitar with Lace Sensor Pick-ups (Red, Silver, Blue) that was used on much of the Siamese Dream album from 1993 and on their subsequent tour. Corgan's famed "Bat Strat" was the '57 RI with Lace Sensors in sunburst and painted over in silver and black.
All of the parts are original, but pick guard, Lace sensor pickups and electronics were upgraded to meet the specs for this Corgan tribute. The cavity that house the pickups had been mildly chiseled to accommodate a deeper set of pickups by a previous owner as shown in the pictures.
The paint has worn, with some hairline cracks and color fading over the course of its 30 years. The most important part of the guitar, the neck is in amazing shape with little wear on frets. Feel free to email me with any questions or for more pictures.
