1952 Supro Student Deluxe Lap Steel Guitar Pro Setup Original Soft Shell Case

Today, Lawman Guitars is Presenting..

An awesome find. A well played, yet carefully cared for, 1952 Supro Student Deluxe Lap Steel Guitar with the original Soft Shell Case!

This beauty is completely original except the strings…see pics. Tuners with the original tuner buttons still intact…even the bridge cover is still on this twangy beauty…The Supro Pickup is one of the loudest we have had here in the shop. Very bright and in your face... Still has the original input jack and it works as well as the guitar... The only malady is the volume pot keeps turning. It works...it lowers the volume and raises it, but it just keep turning. It will eventually need replacing but we wanted to leave it original. It works just fine. Check out those tuners! Kluson No Line Tuners with the original Black Tuner buttons. The tuner buttons are in great shape. Happy they weren't taken off this cool Lap Guitar!

The original naturual finish still looks great on this guitar. Some finish crazing that looks very cool. Happy the Student Deluxe Logo was never worn off. The original cord was checked out and still works as it should. Even after all these years. I checked the National serial number plate on the back of the Headstock to find the 1952 manufacture date. The Supro Raised Metal Headstock logo is still here and also in great shape.

The Valco Single Coil Pickup is strong. You will have no problem getting the right twang out of this Lap Steel! We had our Tech check it out for proper operation and set it up with new set of Strings. Its ready to ROCK!!

The cool Soft Shell Case is also in great shape....it looks really cool. All the latches, hinges and original handle are still with it. Very nice case for your cool Lap Steel Guitar!

This Lap Steel is very cool but sold as-is as its vintage and used. Thanks for respecting that.
