Daion Mark XX-B 1981 Wine Red

The Mark XX-B (or Mark XX-B2 depending on the literature referenced) is an original design and the top of the line model offered from Daion.

Features include a two octave 9-piece maple and rosewood neck with brass dot markers. Brass nut and saddles. Mark XX-Bs Basses had a “P/J” pickup arrangement (split single coil at the neck and a 8 pole single coil at the bridge), a traditional three-way pickup selector, and two volume and two tone controls.

Maintenance performed: body buffed; bridge components completely disassembled, cleaned and hardware oiled; tuners replaced with brand new Gotoh BG707 series (these are direct drop in replacements - no drilling or modification required); frets polished (frets are at end of life and thus priced accordingly); fretboard cleaned and oiled; electronics checked and working; new RotoSound strings.

Being a ~40 year old used vintage instrument the finish will not be perfect - there will be signs of use and imperfections. Instrument is not 100% original and has replacement parts.  If you have questions, please ask before purchasing.
