NEW REDUCED PRICE!
If you're looking for a modern reissue of an American classic, look no further than this 2005 version of the Gibson ES-335 "Dot" Reissue. This guitar was originally owned by southern New Jersey's own Tommie Griggz, frontman of The Tommie Griggz Band. He used it at gigs, in the studio and on tour for the past 17 years. It found its way into our shop and we decided after some consternation to leave the sticker namesake on the guitar and let its new owner decide how to proceed. This guitar comes with the original Gibson hard case(OHC), which is in used but very functional shape.

ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD IN AS-IS CONDITION

All of our instruments sold are in complete, working condition. This instrument was professionally inspected, repaired if necessary & given a pro set-up by one of our favorite luthiers/guitarist/composer/teacher & fantastic all around human being as well as the co-founder of April Mae & The June Bugs, Dave "Catfish" Fecca of Dave Fecca Guitar Repair located in Moorestown, NJ...so this axe is ready to rip!

CONDITION:
Instrument is in good player grade condition, in our opinion. Our luthier gave this a full pro set-up to set the action and intonation. He also buffed and polished the fretboard and smoothed out the body of the guitar so it looks and plays great.

This guitar did have a professional neck repair performed by Pete Brown of Loudo Guitars while under the care of its original owner some years ago. You can see if you look closely at picture #6  (back of the neck).  Our luthier inspected it and believed it to be extremely stabilized and will not be a problem going forward. The guitar still plays easily, sounds great, & is fully sonically capable of what 335s' are known for.

Cosmetically, the guitar has some play wear and natural relic'ing due to its heavy use by a touring musician. While it does not affect the playability, there are some scratches on the finish of the guitar and the bottom and sides of the guitar have some dings and scratches. Please see the attached photos as an extension of our written description.

DIMENSIONS:
Body is approximately 41" long x 16" wide x 1 3/4" deep; scale length is 24 1/2" long x 1 3/4" wide at the 1st fret, 2" wide at the 12th fret, & 2 1/8" wide at the 17th fret.

Nut measures 1 11/16" wide.

Guitar weighs in at 8lbs, 9 oz.

NOTES:
This instrument is ready to play in any capacity the player wishes. This instrument would give a great deal of pleasure to a collector, a player, or a professional.

**SPECIAL NOTE: It is with a very heavy heart that we wish to share the news of the recent passing on
Dec 6, 2020, of our almost 12 year old red & white beagle, our beloved Ace. He was our mascot and namesake of this shop on Reverb.com. He gave us the initial inspiration to sign up with Reverb.com, primarily due to the name that we chose to use on this fantastic website. He was also the chief of security & official greeter for our bricks & mortar shop, always ready to engage with the customers; tail wagging, always happy & forever on the lookout for any ingestible treats that our customers wished to share with him as well as a nice butt or belly rub.
Ace is, and will continue to be, very sorely missed by all who knew him. Our shop will never be the same without his presence. But, his intense spirit and joie de vivre lives on, through our loving memories of him and also via this wonderful platform online. Love the heck out of ya, Acie!!

TO ALL PROSPECTIVE BUYERS: If you are contemplating making us an offer on this or any of our other varied listings, please be fully prepared to follow through, pay for your item and consummate the deal if your offer is accepted by us. We have been hit hard lately by offers from buyers with little or even zero feedback or inexperience on this selling platform. These buyers never paid for their purchases.  Obviously, we would rather this never happen again, but sometimes it will occur no matter what our wishes are. Thank you for reading this far and for your patience and understanding as well. And, in the immortal lyrics from an early Steve Miller Band tune, “You gotta keep on keepin on”!
