If you want an almost perfect 225 this is it. I could call it mint, but did not. I have never seen one this nice and I can't remember that last time I saw one in a shop. I rarely play it and I am getting older and have a bunch of other guitars. I will likely regret selling it, as I have resisted since I bought it LOL!

I bought this in the late 70's. I have been offered cash many times for it. Now I am almost ready for full Social Security and find I only play my Strats or my Martin and really never play this anymore. It is a sweet axe and I hate to part with it, but if someone wants a great hollow body...  This guitar was purchased at The Guitar Workshop in Ithaca New York, when I lived there. It was sold as a '53' but the serial is a '56' (V8693 25)

I had left the case closed for quite a few years once and when I opened it the tuner plastic was deteriorated. I replaced them with Stewart MacDonald tuners (direct replacement - same screw holes). I still have the old tuners and replacement buttons, if someone wanted it stock, but the newer tuners are better IMHO.

Original REAL Gibson hardcase (with metal Gibson label, I think brass). I've never seen another quite to nice. A bit of nicks and tears, but pretty nice considering is over 60 years old.

Not much else to say, if you want this you probably already know what it is and the P90 is a great and popular P/U. I would say it is mint, but it has endured some minor wear over 60+ years. I tried to get good pictures all around. Head has the most wear, which is minor.  By the way, I am a professional product photographer, that's why the pics look so good. Someone claimed they were not mine and had my account suspended temporarily!
