SIGMA - DMC-STE

Dreadnought Acoustic / Electric Guitar, Natural

In 1970, "SIGMA", the brand name for acoustic guitars, was launched.
They were built by specially trained personnel in Japan's most efficient guitar factories, then sent to the United States for inspection before being released for sale and shipped to music stores.

Early Japanese-made Sigma guitars were quite different from instruments built in later years in other countries. After several years of production, manufacturing of the guitars was transferred to Korea, with new model numbers in place and the development of a new logo.
Now each guitar was emblazoned on the headstock with pride: “Sigma Guitars Est. 1970”.
