About This Listing

Up for sale is a 1986 Epiphone S-600 super strat in metallic red. This guitar has been heavily upgraded (list of upgrades below) and is stage/recording ready.

The guitar has recently undergone a fret level and set up and plays perfectly with low action. The emg pickups sound thunderous and are perfect for 80s heavy metal. Guitar is in great condition for 36 years old and only shows minor dings and dents. I love this guitar for Van Halen tones and can’t take it with me on an upcoming big move.

Guitar is in great condition for a 35 year old instrument and comes with its share of dings and scratches. Back control plate is missing. Please check photos carefully.

List of upgrades:
EMG 57 active PAF style bridge humbucker
EMG Maverick single coil neck pickup
Fully upgraded emg solderless wiring and pots
Guitar Fetish Floyd rose replica gold
Super fat 43mm FU-tone brass tremolo block
Recent fret level and setup with low action
