The Countryman I2 Violin Microphone has been engineered from the ground up for smooth frequency response, low noise, and precise polar patterns with deep nulls and natural on- and off-axis response. This package includes the I2 microphone with a hypercardiod pick-up pattern for extreme rejection of unwanted stage noises and Countryman's lightweight and secure mount for violin or viola., Also included is a windscreen and case for the microphone.
The I2 Violin Mount holds gently and securely, providing vibration damping and ideal microphone positioning on violins and violas. You can confidently use this mount on your instrument without any possibility of damaging the instrument.
This version of the I2 is terminated in a TA4F connector wired specifically for Shure bodypack wireless transmitters. The I2 is also available in a cardiod pick-up pattern and can be ordered for use with any other wireless transmitter. An XLR version can be ordered for connecting directly to a mixer or other input device with phantom power.
