It comes with the original cables which have extensive rigidity and crackling outer shell from natural dry rot of the antique plastic they used back then.
That being said the pickup works fine and is 100% original
The 'stick' will require whatever it takes to get the pickup to stay where you want it, whether thats a piece of tape or clamp etc.
