The paint on the headstock is original Dakota Red. Decal is original. The body has been refinished with a light relic treatment, with attention being given to keeping the paint coat thin like the headstock with a similar thin white undercoat. It’s been given some checking, again to be in keeping with the headstock.
All hardware is original apart from the tuning machines which are gotoh 66 style replicas. Pickguard is the original white plastic one. All pickguard screws are original and were carefully conserved during the refin work.
Bridge pickup cover, pots and control plate, ‘orange drop’ capacitor, ‘tug bar’, and strap buttons are original.
