Selling my Carvin fretless.
The Good:
• Plays great and records well.
• Active Pickups/Passive. Bass, treble, and mid knobs. Push/Pull volume knob switches between active and passive
• Well balanced instrument, minimal neck diving.
• Stays in tune well. No surprises.
• Green and black burst, looks awesome.
• Comes with matching molded Carvin hardshell case.
The Bad:
• Bass has been used live and shows wear in line with live use.
• Some wear on fretboard.
• Few small dings and paint chips. Chips shown in photos, main ding is just to the right of the lowest control knob in first image, some smaller ones on the back
• Endpin moved before my ownership, no info. Does not effect anything other than look. I chose to leave it rather than fix it
• Neck fix near nut on player side of fretboard, local luthier checked it out when I purchased and confirmed it was solid work but they could have shined it up better, gives the spot a satin finish as opposed to the glossy finished bass.
