Here is an original, unmodified Alvarez AD65E electric archtop guitar from around the year 2000.
The AD65E is essentially a dressed up, modern ES-125, considered the best production-level copy. It is an intermediate step between the newer, cheaper models and the classic Gibson.
This guitar has no issues. It was recently setup with .10s, intonates perfectly, remains in tune, projects well, and plays comfortably with low action. It sounds great picked or strummed; best with round-wound strings for blues/country in my opinion, but also pleasant with flat-wounds for jazz.
The cosmetic condition would be mint except for a tiny indentation on the fretboard (photographed) that does not affect playability at all.
It comes with a snug fitting TKL hard case.
