Own a piece of musical heritage – the 1983 Dan Smith Era Fender P-Bass.
This 1983 Dan Smith Era P-Bass from the legendary Fullerton factory is a rare vintage gem, prized for its exceptional tone and craftsmanship.
Weighing just 9.5 lbs, it’s comfortable to play while delivering the unmistakable vintage P-Bass sound that has defined generations of music.
The bass is essentially all-original. When I purchased it, a replacement pickup had been installed, so I sourced a period-correct early-1980s Fender Precision pickup with gray fiber bobbins and had it installed by a former Fender Custom Shop technician. The volume and tone knobs have also been replaced with identical-looking ones, preserving the instrument’s classic aesthetic.
A hard case is included to ensure safe travel for this iconic instrument.
Perfect for collectors, players, or investors in vintage gear, this P-Bass offers both timeless tone and the tangible history of Fender’s golden era. Ships securely via Reverb Safe Shipping.
