Tacoma M-2 Mandolin Sunburst W/ Hardshell Case Made In USA

Up for your consideration is a used Tacoma M-2 flat-top mandolin in a sunburst finish with hardshell case, made in USA. This item is in very good condition, with a few visual imperfections. As can be seen in the photos, there is a ding on the top of the instrument towards the bass side. There are also a few smaller dings on the instrument that were difficult to photograph. Aside from that, there's some minor finish imperfections, as well as some playing wear on the clear coat. Despite the visual imperfections, the instrument is structurally sound and in playing order.

The Tacoma M-2 features a solid mahogany top, with solid rosewood back/sides. The soundhole is offset, and sits on the upper bass-side bout. The one-piece mahogany neck features an ebony fingerboard with 24 frets, and abalone dot inlays. The bridge is also ebony. Hardware includes black tuning machines in a 4x4 configuration, and a steel tailpiece, also finished in black. Additional features include ivoroid body binding, and a mahogany headstock overlay with an ivoroid Tacoma logo inlay. 

Scale length of the instrument is 13.8". Width at the nut is 1.13", width at the 12th fret is 1.50". Body width is 10.85", body depth is 2.125". Action at the 12th fret is 4/64ths on the bass side, 3/64ths on the treble side. Frets are in good shape with little wear. The case is in great condition, no rips/tears on the outside, all latches are fully functional, and the case is free of any pet, smoke, or basement smells.
