Awesome sounding amp! This vintage Fender Musical Instruments Japan Sidekick 10 is packed with an 8” blue label Fender special design speaker, volume, master, bass, middle, and treble controls. Simple and minimalist set up with a big sound. This is a lightweight and versatile travel amp with size:

13.25” x 12.5” x 7.5”

And very lightweight at only 12 lb.

Condition: It has some oxidation and wear on the metal parts and the treble function needs attention. All other functions work great and the amp gets very loud. Ground plug is intact.

In 1984 Rivera set out to design Fender Japans Sidekick series and other Fender Japan amps, as shown in the video link attached.

Overall, this is a highly sought after amp from Fender Japan made under strict quality control, with solid state of the art technology of its time, with features and sound that was above the competition.
