If you familiar with the Ibanez Tube Screamer, then you already have an idea as to what to expect with this pedal.
This pedal is phenomenal and really shines when used in front of another overdrive or distortion pedal to bring that pedal to life. On its own it's a pretty tame overdrive pedal. Great for more conservative music like country or blues, because the tone is really good on it. However, on its own you're not gonna get any heavy metal fury out of it. The face melting comes when you pair it with another pedal or an overdriven tube amp.
