VINTAGE 1950's John Grey & Sons Broadway "Traveler" Outfit in Black Diamond Pearl
- Vintage Drum Set.
- Sizes: 14x20 bass drum, 8x12 tom, 5x14 snare.
- Details & Notes: A lovely example of English drum making from the 50's can be seen in this John Grey & Sons travel kit. The kit consists of a 14x20 bass drum, 8x12 tom, and a 5x14 snare drum, giving the player everything needed for a quick in-and-out club gig. The bass drum spur design is inherently flawed, needing adjustment of leg hight via a hex key, and relying on the weight of the bass drum for support as there is no way to fasten the legs in. There are several holes in the top side of the bass drum, some of which have been filled. Snare drum and rack tom batter side tension rods take slotted keys.
