This is a brand new Don Mare Big Box Archtop Telecaster neck pickup. It's brand new and unused in it's original box. The screws and rubbers are included. This one has been aged / relic'd by Don Mare. The pickup measures out at 7.3k ohm and is wound to approximate the big, warm and full tone of a vintage archtop guitar. Here's the description from Don's website;
This is a very special design.
It use's a Taller version Alnico 5 magnets with wire 43 and 42 wrapped all on one coil making it sound like a Big Box Arch Top / Hollow Body, says Rick Holmstrom.
A big Gibson® Humbucker-like sound, but with all the cut, bell tones, and high end treble of Famous Fender single coils left in.
Also tap-able and comes with 13" wire taps.
Can be wired on full-time or tapped.
When its tapped you have 6.4k or 7.4k
