This is a way cool vintage Jazz Bass, made in Japan in about 1965. It looks like it was made in the Teisco factory. It is definitely styled after the Fender Jazz Bass. Yup...
This bass is in excellent condition. The best I have seen in a long time, minimal wear and a tiny, tiny spot of buckle rash. That's it! Electronics include a pair of single-coil pickups controlled by two volume and one tone control along with individual on/off rocker switches. The red burst finish still looks great! Gorgeous rosewood fretboard, 34" scale length, with pearl dot inlays and chrome, sealed tuners. Oh, did I mention a really sweet chrome pickguard...
All original, pickups, tuning machines, gnobs, ashtray bridge cover... all of it. Untouched and sweet!
