Not often do  you get the chance to own a truly vintage Fender guitar that won't break the bank and you can actually take to a gig. Well,,, Here's your chance ,we dug up two of these beauty's from a collector in the midwest,a 2 pickup s-2 that you see here and a 3 pickup version(see another listing) .This baby has all the cool old school features and the sound to boot.Three way switching, single ply pickguard , volume and tone controls and front panel input.The simplicity of this guitar is amazing ,but so is it's tone.Run through a clean Fender amp with tons of reverb and its basically the soundtrack to any Quentin Tarantino movie.So much fun to play this little monster, the maple fretboard is in excellent shape as are the original frets.Tuners hold very well and the hardtail bridge is rock solid.This guitar just plain out sounds good and is a no frills fun machine.Just 6lbs of historic Fender tone here.Earliest one iv'e got and the only 2 pickup version so get it quick.
