Personal Owners Review: This Guild Jazz box is an excellently crafted instrument and this one is in superb condition and sounds amazing! Legendary guitarists like Ted Greene routinely played Guild guitars for their amazing sound. This jazz box tone is very very warm and smooth with the perfect amount of bite in the articulation. it’s designed with an adjustable archtop wooden bridge so you can set the action as low as you would like, currently set mid-low for ease of play/passing lines. Of my personal guitars this is by far my favorite axe for Jazz (and all it’s sub-genres), Blues, and R&B. There are two minor scratches i could hardly spot with the naked eye but I was able to locate on the guitar however, all in all it is in really nice condition. 

Design Specification Details: The Guild X-155 is a model from the Hollow Body series in the DeArmond catalog. The electric DeArmond Hollow Body series guitars are based on the iconic vintage jazz boxes made by Gibson. The X-155 is a single-cut guitar made of maple back, sides and top. The natural blonde arched top is bound in creme and carved with it's two f-holes. This guitar is designed with the elevated pick guard and the bridge section is equipped with an archtop style adjustable wooden bridge. It has a trapezoid DeArmond "D" tailpiece. The X-155 is designed with two lush gold toned DeArmond humbucking pickups, 3- way toggle pickup selector switch, volume & tone controls for each pickup. The set in maple neck is topped with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard, big block pearl inlays and truss rod adjustment at the headstock beneath the guild truss cover.
