G&L L-2500 USA (NOT a Tribute!) model in Sunburst. The serial number begins with CL, meaning this instrument was made between 1997 and 1998.
Great bass with a great sound! I acquired this bass around 2017 from someone who used it for a fairly heavy amount of gigging (as did I), so there is a bit of markings/blemishes as seen in the photos.
The bass could definitely benefit from a professional setup. There's a bit of a ground buzz when you switch on the active EQ (this bass has an active EQ toggle switch), meaning you can hear a slight droning buzz sound while playing. The pad that holds the 9v battery is also slightly torn from years of use, but still functional.
This bass also includes the G&L hard case, which has also seen a bit of abuse over the years, as shown in the photos. The straps that hold the case open at a 45 degree angle relative to the case lying flat have torn off (which could be repaired with some glue), and two of the 'legs' or 'feet' on the bottom of the case have broken off.
All in all a great bass, but it needs a little work!
