Phaez Jaguar

I've had this Phaez Jaguar for around 6 years. I used it exclusively for a couple of years and moved on to other amps. Phaez describes this amp as being a Bad Cat in the clean channel, and the dirty channel is switchable between a Dumble or Marshall voicing. I can't say that it sounds like any of those amps, but I have enjoyed the tone of this amp while I've owned it. I've never had an issue with reliability or any problems with the amp since I've had it. I did have new tubes put it in a couple of years ago and have used it sparingly since then.

The clean channel on this amp is pretty simple: a volume and tone control. The dirty channel was always a little noisy for my taste, but it is pretty loud. The amp has been this way since I owned it, but the noise from the dirty channel will still persist even if you are just plugged into the clean channel. I had a tech look at it once, and with how the amp is laid out, there wasn't an easy fix to alleviate that problem so I never had anything done. I always just used the clean channel on the amp and used pedals. The dirty channel does sound good, but the amount of noise just wasn't conducive to the style of music I play.
