I Bought this complete THX Ultra system new in 2004 and used for 6 years sparingly, I have held on to these stored indoors, with the hopes of putting them up again. I have settled in a condo and these Legendary speakers would rattle the entire building, so I am letting them go to the right home. Any new in box, were not produced by the original manufacturer, but after they were reopened by a danish company. I dont see any other complete sets from a single original owner.

These are recommended for a dedicated theater room, but I had them in my family room.

I have all the mounting hardware to ceiling or wall mount the heavy front 3 and the 2 small back speaker ( all included ). Sub is dual firing and has a smidge of wood damage under the screen from a liquid spill, does not affect performance at all!

Please know what you are looking at as they dont make these anymore.
(3x) Miller & Kreisel S-150 THX Left/Centre/Right for Front Satellite Speakers,
(2x) Miller & Kreisel S-150 THX Left/Right for Rear Satellite Speakers,
(1x) Miller & Kreisel MX-150 MKII THX Powered Subwoofer.

The speakers are pre-owned and in Excellent used condition, they have been sitting in the spare bedroom closet.

They are the original ‘Made in the USA’ speakers, not the Chinese manufactured versions, and will not disappoint. These are very hard to find now that they no longer have a US presence. Very heavy, 3 fronts are 23lbs per speaker, sub is 75 lbs, rears are 11lbs. All Mag shielded of course!
There are some discolorations when you look at certain angles, I'm sure they can be refinished or buffed. Sold as is, they are in 100% working order and will built to last and stored with extreme care.

SHIPPING - I will have UPS pack to ensure they are packed well for shipping, that cost is totally on the buyer and you may contact UPS with the specs of these speakers and see what they charge, it is a pass through. The shipping charge I put is due to having to put one, please contact me if you need the specs, but they are readily available

Note:- This ad is for a full 5.1 System. Consisting of (5x) M&K S-150 Speakers and the M&K MX-150 Powered Subwoofer. Only selling as a package. M&K Sound loudspeakers have been chosen for the development and demonstration of the ground-breaking Dolby Digital cinema and home surround format, for the first public demonstration of the high-resolution Blu-ray disc format, for sound production on Star Wars Episodes I-III and countless other award-winning music, film and TV productions.

A Who’s Who of the professional audio world – film, music, mastering and broadcast studios – continue to entrust their livelihood to M&K Sound reference monitors and powered subwoofers.

If there is one speaker that most AV enthusiasts would recognize straight away, it's the M&K S-150. The original appeared around 15 years ago and was an instant hit with the professional and consumer markets. The unique looking design using two woofers and three tweeters in a small cabinet immediately made them stand out, and the company will also tell you they didn’t sound too bad either. In terms of their history, with frequent use in a professional environment, the S150 has quite a CV.

It was the speaker used to first demonstrate Blu-ray audio at CES, it was chosen to be the speaker for the first Dolby Digital EX 6.1 channel sound mix, it is used to produce the home sound mixes for Blu-ray and DVDs by Fox, MGM, Columbia and others, and it was used in the production of the Star Wars prequels. And that's just the tip of the iceberg according to Miller & Kreisel.

The two 5.25 drivers in each S150 speaker represent decades of in-house design by full time M&K engineers, incorporating extensive experimentation and research to arrive at a driver which fits the exact standards that the company required. With the triple tweeter array in the S150 the high frequencies are covered by all three meaning they can handle more power, they crossover at 1.5kHz instead of the normally accepted 2.5kHz, and this gives the sound a smoother and undetectable transition between woofers and tweeters, or so M&K claim anyway. While the design looks odd there is no doubt that a lot of thought has gone into the design of the tweeters, the crossover points with the woofers and the way in which the speaker uses maximum power at the lowest distortion and with the best dispersion pattern for a wide listening position.
M&K’s own Phase Focused crossover technology ensures that there is a consistent sound pressure throughout the entire listening area. This ensures that there is a wide horizontal dispersion of sound making the usual sweet spot much larger and wider than normal. Added to this is the carefully controlled vertical radiation pattern that reduces interaction of sound waves with ceilings and floors further improving the horizontal focus and imaging between the front speakers of the system.
