This Marshall 1969 / 70 – MK 2 / Master Model 100 Watt Lead Amp was the # 4 (of 4 amps) used in the arsenal of Kat James of the band Troublemaker based out of Texas. Troublemaker is “The Longest Running Female Fronted Rock Band In The Great State Of Texas”. This amplifier was used extensively thru the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s for shows and tours. Please note that this amp is not original. It has been modified. These modifications were performed by the late & great renowned Marshall Service Tech Joe "Hoss" Wendler in Houston, Texas whom founded Power Audio Services. The 2 modifications performed were A) The inputs have been “wired over” to a single input jack, and B) after Marshall discontinued production of the 6550 tubes in the late 1980's this amp was changed over from the standard 6550 tubes to the warmer EL34 tubes. This amp was used a lot but was always taken care of and was always transported in an amp rack. It is in great condition. This amp does NOT have exterior tolex and was that way when purchased back in the 70’s, as was the cooling fan that someone installed on the end of the amp. Have never had any issue with the cooling fan.
