Koa Peavey Unity with Hardcase

This is a gorgeous specimen of a hand crafted in USA instrument.  This Unity is an absolute monster, rockin passive Seymour Duncan Bassline pickups, and brand new Rotosound strings. Fresh set up, and action is set pretty low.

It has a very modern growl to it.  The neck is a great blend of thin and fat, definitely not P-bass thick, but not Cirrus this either.  Very comfortable and easy to play, and its neck through construction is very solid feeling.  Its also very well balanced, it does not seem to have much neck dive at all.

The Koa and Purple Heart body is friggin beautiful, even better in person.  The purple heart flashes in certain light, and runs all the way up the neck.  Koa is known as a great tone wood, but more importantly it gives this bass a really nice feel. Its not super heavey, but still feels solid.  I think the gold hardware matches perfectly, too.

Overall this bass is in great shape.  It has minimal wear on the fretboard as shown in the pics. The body is in fantastic shape, no cracks or big scratches or anything like that.  I have tested the truss rod when I set it up, it moves both ways just fine.

It comes with what looks like the original hard case, and a really nice Walker & Williams padded leather strap.
