Blue Coconut Unity Echoverb super weirdo rare 6 head analog tape delay

Well here is something you don't see every day! I bought this late 2009 because I was intrigued with getting something a little different than a Roland Space Echo and boy I certainly did.

An awesome 6 head analog tape delay with a set of unbalanced I/O in the front for hooking up a guitar direct, another set of I/O to use in an effects loop and a balanced set of I/O in the back for patching into a mixer and using on a bus. They really covered all the bases with this. 

The most obvious controls for a tape echo unit are tape speed (the slower the speed, the longer the delay time), echo level and feedback or sustain, where some of the output is fed back to the input to increase the number and complexity of the repeats. All these are provided, along with a Tone button to create warmer, less toppy repeats, and a master output level control.

To control the echo pattern, there are six illuminated buttons that allow each head to be switched on or off, and these buttons are arranged in a line before the Tone and Echo bypass buttons. Each button has a dual-colour LED inside that changes from red to green when a head is active, and the current head setup is recalled on powering up the unit. Another neat touch is the circular VU meter, which has a blue backlight that turns red when the input level is too high.

The pictures I took were me testing it to make sure everything is functioning properly and it is.. it sounds a bit cleaner than a Space Echo but gets way more complex and crazy because of the multiple heads. The reverb part is interesting to play with as well. I used it for years as a guitar effect and also in mixes via the balanced jacks on a send.. makes for incredibly real time sonic manipulation. 

Condition is excellent with just a small nick on the top as seen in the picture. It's really a great and super rare piece and if you are a running a project studio or a guitar player who likes to flex on instagram this thing is not only amazing sonically but so freaking cool to have because there aren't many out there. I am only selling to fund my motorcycle addiction which has taken over more of time than music.

Open to offers but I implore you...... think about the price you want to offer before you send and ask yourself "would I be annoyed if someone else sent me this type offer?" in other words... don't send me a crackhead number please..
