Joemeek OneQ "master studio channel"
kept very well.
It is a channel strip that includes:
- preamplifier
- optical compressor
- equalizer
- intensifier
- de-esser
- two-channel 96KHz AD converter
- Word clock.
The channel strip is very flexible, suitable for professional use in the recording studio and also live for vocals, guitar, bass.
It is completely analog and allows you to play with many sounds thanks to the many parameters that can be manipulated.
Transparent preamplifier.
Equalizer with LF shelf, two very effective and colored semi-parameters (they call it Meequalizer, there is a reason ...).
Very efficient optical compressor, complete with all the classic sufficient quantities, it can also work as a limiter effectively. It is optical driven by a led circuit and photocell, it has very fast attack times (1 ms).
It also features an A / D converter (two channels) at the output which alone is worth a lot. You can then connect the Joemeek digitally (up to 96K) to a sound card or mixer, via SPDIF cable or optical cable. This bypasses the card converters and enters the digital input without losing any of the channel strip quality.
Finally, the Word clock, which allows you to insert it into quality digital systems.
Mine is used very little, in the home studio, it has always been mounted in a flightcase, not moved, it's perfect.
