Based on the Benson Preamp Pedal. It does what a great preamp does: goes from warming up your guitar tone with rich harmonics, to boost, into overdrive, into distortion and fuzz territory. It covers a large range of gain and tone. Benson Amps has made the schematic and build notes available so this is a properly biased and tuned pedal.
