1982 Fender Japan JV P-Bass PB62-115 Precision Tone Vintage White rare highest
Up for sale is one of the rarest of the rare---the highest model JV Precision bass, from 10-1-82. JV guitars went from 65 to 85 and 115, while the P basses went from 75 to 95. This is a 95.
Later in 1982, shops raised prices on some basses, so the sticker says 98, referring to the initial purchase price of 98,000 yen.
Please see pics for details. Plays great, amazing tone as can be expected. A little buzz on one d string 16th fret. Some scratches/discoloration/finish crack/nicks as can be expected but not bad for a 35 year old bass!
Includes nice leather style gigbag. All original save for tortoise shell pickguard.
Weight: 4.1 kg.
White color is the rarest produced.
