Hello again from AxeMasters! Guitar intonation is an often overlooked procedure which helps you get each string properly tuned. This means that your guitar sounds great regardless of whether you're fretting or playing open chords. How many times have you been playing, sounding great, when you move into an open C chord and suddenly the tuning sounds terrible? Or an open G. A properly compensated nut will correct this. As our fix, we v-slot just ahead of the 3 treble string slots. Those three strings are usually the trouble-makers. The v-slots give you just enough extra scale length to help you achieve the intonation that you need.
Our nut is handmade from solid cow bone and round-slotted for perfect string placement. 1 3/4" long, 3/8" tall, 1/4" thick. Fits any Epi that requires a 1 3/4" long nut. Shipped immediately with full postal tracking.
