Bach 180S37 Trumpet (Dallas, TX)

The Bach Stradivarius line of trumpets have been the choice of professionals for over 80 years. The quality and workmanship behind this trumpet is recognized around the world. Out of the various Stradivarius model options, the 180S37 is the most popular model of all. The 180S37 model is constructed with a standard weight, yellow-brass body. finished off with a lush silver finish. The body is made with a .457 medium large bore, and 37 " bell. The bell is assembled with a one piece, hand-hammered process. This bore and bell combination helps to produce a free blowing instrument, with great sound and projection. This particular Bach Stradivarius 180S37 is in good condition, and has had only one previous owner. It plays and sounds great, and It has been tested and evaluated by our in-house instrument tech. The body of the trumpet is also in good condition, but it does show signs of heavy usage. There are some tiny, minor scratches on the section of the lead pipe, adjacent to the bell. Most notable, however, is an area of worn lacquer finish on the top, inside portion of the bell; from about the 7:00 position to the 1:30 position; and also in the 3 o'clock section of the bell.
