Featuring all the snort and grit you'd expect from an old guitar this size, but with better tonal balance, the Delta 00 has the complex organic tones of a 20s or 30s vintage guitar. This guitar is true to its vintage roots, and authentic all the way to the core.
Unlike other modern smaller-bodied acoustics, the Delta 00’s quarter-sawn, hand-sanded scalloped bracing is shifted back (away from the sound hole), staying true to the traditional designs of the time. The result is a slightly compressed throwback tone, but with modern output and projection that lends itself well to both fingerpicking and flatpicking, in standard or alternate tunings.
The brilliant high-gloss finish really shows off the beauty of the mahogany back andsides. Throw in a genuine bone nut and saddle, a superior factory setup, and a fit and finish that is unheard of at this price, and the Delta 00 just might wind up being your new favorite songwriting partner!
