Fender American Series Stratocaster 2000

Here’s a Frankencaster, if you are interested. 🤣 This is my tribute to / variation on Jerry Garcia’s famous Alligator Strat. I can include in the sale the original neck, pickups, and tuners & knobs (latter not pictured) in case you prefer to reverse any of my modifications. Modifications include: Gotoh staggered-height tuners (eliminates need for any string trees), Lindy Fralin Split Blade Strat™️ pickups (“Vintage Output” model), David Gilmour style short whammy bar, and custom-ordered pick guard, control plate, and knobs. The replacement neck is Warmoth brand, with a bone nut, and is Gibson-scale, so you feel like you are playing a Les Paul. The original neck was replaced for the new scale and aesthetics but also because there is minor finish cracking along the stripe on the backside (I attempted to take a pic) - if you wanted to put original neck back on, surely this issue could be resolved with some fine grit sandpaper. Other minor blemish is two small drilled holes behind the bridge that have been filled by a Luthier. Ask me any questions, and I’d be glad to send more pics of anything you want. This will ship in a Fender hard case. Strap is Souldier leather vintage style strap. In summary, this guitar is in excellent condition, since the new neck only lightly payed (I am NOT a touring musician) and has been in home or in case most of its life. Only reason for listing as “Very Good” condition is due to the minor blemishes noted above.

P.S. The metal plates were inspired by the work of Fender Custom Shop builder Paul Rhoney (Google his work because he has made a RARE Strat with plates similar to this, and I had to search far and wide to find a person who could replicate the parts similarly.)
