Gibson 2013 Les Paul Future Tribute
Unplayed New Old Stock
NOT a Store "Wall Hanger" or "Demo" Guitar
No longer in Production Model
This unplayed 2013 Les Paul Future Tribute is primed for optimum playability and versatility with a pair of zebra-coil ’57 Classic humbucking pickups for a blend of vintage warmth and contemporary articulation, along with a superbly comfortable custom asymmetrical neck profile. Gibson’s acclaimed bridge and tailpiece team up with futuristic Steinberger gearless tuners to ensure smooth play-ability and precise tuning and intonation.
The Les Paul Future Tribute takes the classic platform of the original Les Paul Standards forward into the 21st century by starting with the timeless tone wood combination of a mahogany body with solid carved maple top. The mahogany back is strategically weight relieved using modern weight relief methods for reduced weight and improved resonance.
A solid mahogany neck is glued into the body in Gibson’s time-tested tradition, and carved to an ergonomic and superbly comfortable new asymmetrical profile that fits the natural shape of the human hand, with depths of .800” at the 1st fret and .875” at the 12th, making this one of the most playable Les Paul's yet created. It is topped with a genuine rosewood fingerboard that carries 22 medium-jumbo frets and traditional trapezoid inlays. A PLEK-cut nut made from black Corian subtly complements the knurled chrome knobs and black pickup rings, while enhancing resonance and sustain. The headstock is silk screened with a gold Gibson logo and Les Paul Model.
The guitar ensures its sonic versatility and hot looks with a pair of zebra-coil ’57 Classic humbucking pickups, consisting of a standard wound humbucker in the neck position and a slightly over-wound ’57 Classic Plus for hotter lead tones in the bridge position. The ’57 Classics begin with genuine Alnico 2 magnets and 42-AWG enamel-coated wire, but are enhanced with evenly matched coils for a smooth, singing tone, and wax potting. The result is a thick, rich, warm, and articulate tone.
The timeless classic tune-o-matic bridge and Stopbar tailpiece anchors the guitar and then rams it into the future with a set of super-efficient Steinberger gearless tuners, a hardware set that partners up for solid sustain and precision tuning. Included is a black Gibson gig bag, owner’s manual and truss rod wrench.
Gibson called the finish sheen of this guitar "Vintage Gloss". It is Gibson's name for the finish and not ours. The finish itself has more of a semi-gloss sheen and in actuality is somewhere between a full gloss and a satin finish.

All guitars are shipped with their original factory set-up. We do not dress frets or perform set-ups and make no changes to the original manufacturer's specs. Every guitar we sell is factory "A" stock quality meaning that each was shipped from their respective factory meeting factory specifications for set-up, fret work, electronics, finish application, wood choice and so on. Guitar players have diverse individual set-up requirements so any changes to a guitar's set-up is a personal decision and expense that belongs to the new owner.

All serial numbers and documents will be inspected and verified prior to issuing a refund.
Due to the fragile nature of all guitar finishes please note that extreme hot or cold temperatures and guitar finishes do not play nice together. We recommended once any guitar has been received that it be allowed to acclimate to room temperature for several hours before opening the box and removing any of the packaging and the guitar from the shipping carton. Extreme changes in temperature, humidity and or altitude will cause finish (weather) checking as well as possible changes to the guitar's neck and set-up. There is no warranty by any guitar manufacturer that will warranty against finish checking or neck and set-up changes due to climatic changes.
