This synth rules! Super cool Beach House tones, and it can do the Phoenix and M83 thing as well with big thick lush chords. Run it through an overdrive, reverb, and delay pedal and it’s a whole other animal. I was getting some NIN sounds out of this thing, very crunchy and awesome.
The onboard drums are awesome, great for sampling and songwriting. They totally come alive when you put them through pedals as well. The little speaker sounds great, and it has an 1/8 out (just needs an 1/8 to 1/4 adapter which is like $1).
This is an old one that was made in Japan with better components and circuitry than ones that came after. It’s in almost mint condition, it seriously looks brand new, you wouldn’t believe it’s 35 years old. Killer synth!
