Check my reviews, the guitars I sell leave my door set-up and ready to burn, here’s this latest offering:

This is an Ibanez RG570 body that was made in Japan in the late 90’s. This color is rare, I can’t even figure out what the color is called on all the Ibanez sites but it’s really freaking gorgeous in person. I’m pretty sure it was called Purple Pearl but I’m not certain. I figured that gold hardware should be a no brainer so that’s what it got. More on hardware later.

The neck is from a Kramer Imperial explorer type shaped guitar and it’s from the early 2000’s I’m guessing. Feels fantastic. I replaced one of the frets and gave it a full level and crown, then polishing. This action is super low. Like 1.25mm on the low E and 1mm or less on the high e. The logo on the headstock came to me haphazardly scratched off in places (like, were they just too lazy to finish the job once they started?) so I decided to just fill it in with paint pens and broadcast to the world that Kramer ain’t dying. That’s my style and I can’t stand haters. The tuners are stock Kramer Gotoh. No complaints- solid.

The pickups I ordered for this guitar are the same as the RG570 came with stock. People that don’t know much about anything like to hate on these but more experienced people like myself know they are balanced and sweet sounding. The V logos are a cool retro touch as well. I have them wired on a 3-way Fender blade switch (1. Bridge 2. Middle 3. Neck) because it’s what I had around and besides, who’s gonna play this guitar and get all quack a wacka quack a wacka. More power to you if you can pull that off, throw your own 5-way switch in if you want. The pots are low friction Bourns A500k. The jack is a pure tone with a Les Paul style jack plate from Allparts. I drilled out where the stock barrel jack was because I hate them and they are forever giving people problems at the worst times.

This bridge is the second one of these I’ve used and I love it. It’s a Fernandez branded Floyd type with a brass block. Honest to god, this bridge is everything a person could want in a floating trem. I’ve had them all over the years (EDGE, Lo-TRS, OFR, Gotoh etc) and this one is up there with the best. It’s like a 1984 Floyd that has Gotoh machining, softer on the edges and just more refined feeling.

This guitar has bumps, scratches and dings but nothing to affect playability. To quote Deep Purple “It’s a killer machine, it’s got everything”. Dead flat neck relief, super low action, intonated, trem floating level. That how this guitar will ship out.

If you have any questions or whatever feel free to ask. All in all, I play this right after my $2,500 USA Charvel San Dimas and I’m not even sure which one I like better. Probably the Charvel, but not by much and not even all the time. This will be an excellent guitar for someone to have. Also comes with a gig bag.

I have a ton of experience on Reverb. I ship promptly, I pack properly and I am responsive. No Ghosting from this guy. Thank you for looking!
