Eastman AR904 oval hole acoustic archtop in excellent condition. These are extremely rare: only a few were made, possibly only 3 or 4 over the years, mostly for NAMM shows as a flagship piece. This is a fully carved acoustic archtop sitting in tone between a flattop and f-hole archtop in sound.

The 900 series is Eastman's highest-appointed with all wood binding, beautiful carved maple back, 5 piece maple neck, and ebony fretboard. The top is carved spruce. The tuners are real German Schallers with ebony buttons. Finish is all nitrocellulose lacquer.

This guitar was never sold in a store. I bought it from a dealer who had it from a NAMM show and it's had little play time. There is some finish checking around the binding and near the heel (pictured). This is not a structural problem, it's just a natural shifting of the wood and very common on Eastmans because of the very thin nitro finish. There is also one small mark on the back of the headstock at the top—again, cosmetic only.

Original Eastman "cello-style" case included (some external marks from storage) as well as signed certificate from Eastman and 4 (?!) case keys and strap.
