SDG Vintage 1960 6G8 Blonde Twin Amp. Now open to offers!

SDGVintage-built 1960 6G8 blonde Twin head. Blonde Twin (6G8) pro built by Steve Gupta using top-end components (Merc Mag trannies, Jupiter & Sprague caps, etc). Build quality is ridiculously good on this amp. Steve wired it up so that Volume on the Vibrato channel has noticeably more sweep than the Normal channel, making it much easier to dial in your sound without being brutally loud (feels like a 40 & 80 watt amp all-in-one). The other obvious departure from 6G8 spec is the addition of Middle adjustments which, again, allow you to further refine your sound. I had my tech go through everything before putting it up and he was very impressed with the precision of the build. It also has that super-sweet Fender bias vary vibrato circuitry. I had it in a 70's TR cab that was re-tolexed blonde (also available) but it's now in a blonde head cab that was custom built for it. It's definitely one-of-a-kind and a terrific sounding amp but it's more power than I need so it's on the block.
