La Radio Technique (France) used Philips parts (Like Mullard & Amperex) to produce some of the Finest tubes ever made. Referred to as FRT, some times branded as Dario Miniwatt, This is a very rare, 12AX7S (S is For Special Quality), featuring a frame support for the getter, copper rods and super tight tolerances. These are Telefunken Quality, though even lower in noise and with a sound closer to the Short plate tubes of Mullard & Amperex. This is a great 60's era tube. Ampletrex tested for GM: 1600/1392 where 1250 is NOS min. Gain tested 92/92. #F19. This tube meets or exceeds this criteria for a NOS tube - audiotubes.com/nosnote.htm.
